Covered California Approves Health Plan Model Contract - Tuesday, May 14, 2013

The Covered California board has approved a model contract for health plans. A tentative lineup of health plans participating in the Exchange is expected to be announced on May 23, 2013. Final approval of the lineup will be announced around July 1, 2013.

Updates to the In-Person Assisters Program and Navigators Program were also presented to the board. The Exchange will pay a flat $58 fee for new enrollments and $25 for annual renewals.
