David K. Berlinger – Partner/President

David K. Berlinger began his career as an agent in 1997. Shortly after receiving his license he became partner/executive director of Entertainment Industry Health and welfare and has maintained and grown that company to its current size. In 2004 David decided to open Berlinger, Littwin, Rush insurance services, a full service Insurance agency specializing in all lines of life and health insurance with a focus on all businesses from 2 to 10,000 employees. David is experienced in creating solutions that meet the needs of all his clients from individuals to small and large companies, he specializes in reducing cost and brings superior service and outside the box thinking. David resides in Thousand Oaks California with his wife Tricia and 4 children.

• He is a Qualifying Member of MDRT and has been for the last 7 years.
• He is a 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 member of the Top of the Table MDRT.

• David serves and has served on the Advisory Boards of many of the core carriers.        

David has been president of Berlinger, Littwin, Rush, and West Coast Agency since the inception September 1, 2004.

Warren Berlinger – Senior Partner

Warren’s successful career in the insurance industry spans nearly a half-century. Early on in his career his entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Entertainment Industry Health & Welfare to offer alternative sources of health benefits to members of the Hollywood community. In fact, Warren has also enjoyed a successful, seventy-year career as an actor in film and television, having appeared in thousands of TV shows such as Laverne & Shirley, Love Boat, Happy Days and many others. As a result, his knowledge of the entertainment industry and vast network of relationships within the community provides the West Coast Insurance Agency with unsurpassed expertise in all areas of entertainment insurance. In addition, Warren also specializes in individual and group benefits, as well as disability and life insurance. He is an active member of his community, living in the same city for forty-five years. He was married to his beloved wife, Betty, for forty-nine years, and has four children and eight grandchildren.

Thomas Nial, ChFC – Partner

Thomas holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Management and is a Chartered Financial Consultant. Thomas formerly held the position of Director of Sales for Loantoolbox.com,  West Coast sales Manager for CareerBuilder.com, and General Manager for Life Alert Emergency Response Corporation.  His interests are corporate benefit planning, payroll / worker’s compensation reduction and senior transition to Medicare health plans. He lives in Westlake village with his wife and twin girls. He doesn’t get a word in edgewise at home, which is why he loves talking to our clients.

Robert Rasmussen – Partner

Robert Rasmussen specializes in providing comprehensive Life and Health Insurance solutions for individuals and businesses, both small and large. Robert received a BA in Economics & History from Tufts University and a Masters degree from the University of Southern California. He is a member of NAHU, the National Association of Health Underwriters and is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table.

Prior to entering the insurance field, Robert had a successful career as a award-winning producer in the entertainment industry. His work there involved producing content for clients including the Discovery Channel, Twentieth Century Fox, MGM and Sony Pictures. Robert and his wife, Trish, have three kids, all redheads.

Edward Berlinger – Partner

Edward has been in and around the Insurance business for more than a decade. Prior to joining the West Coast Agency he had a successful career in the electronics and chemical industries. Edward’s working knowledge of how these industries work adds value and expertise for our clients. He specializes in providing insurance solutions for individuals and groups (both small and large) as well as the property & casualty and senior markets.

Andrew Littwin – Principal/Partner

Andrew Littwin holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Management as well as multiple insurance licenses. He was a principal partner and co-founder in Berlinger, Littwin, Rush Insurance Services and serves in the same capacity for the West Coast Agency. He specializes in employee benefits and insurance solutions for businesses. Andrew resides in Woodland Hills, California with his wife and 2 children.

Peter Lyman - Voluntary Benefits Consultant

Peter T. Lyman is the founder and former President of Worksite Resources, insurance licensed in the areas of life, health, disability and annuities, with more than twenty five years of voluntary worksite marketing experience in enrollment design and field sales management. In addition he was the Managing Director of TBG, Canada, a provider of insurance related supply chain management services to the Canadian national government, as well as a consultant to Canada Life and Metropolitan Life in large case development.  Working extensively in the Caribbean, Peter pioneered U.S. worksite marketing design and implementation in overseas markets. Recognized in the voluntary and worksite marketing industry for his extensive knowledge, Peter speaks at industry trade association meetings nationally on worksite products and benefit communications technologies, including international worksite marketing and enrollment.
